Cote d’Azur was founded in 2003 by Carolyn and Darrin Jaques with the intention of creating a truly unique massage experience. With 6 competitor massage locations in walking distance, we thought, “What makes us different?” We wanted a space that offers ancient global concepts in its treatments, we wanted to help educate clients on ways to feel better between visits, we wanted to offer something real.
There is such a profound difference between commercial locations and our space. Some locations focus on the newest fads, quick chemical injections, or equipment that can make people get quick results that are often not lasting or could have toxic side effects. . We chose to focus on authentic treatments that bring relief to the whole person, to the body, emotions and spirit.
It is our authentic team that makes us so perfect. We are the real deal and massage connoisseurs who have had treatments all over the world say we are the best. Even better than blind monk massage in Thailand.
We offer real massage for real people, one of a kind energy experiences without the snobbery or judgment. Ours is a safe place to clear out things that don’t serve you and reinvigorate you for life and creativity again.
From the tall, green bamboo hedge surrounding the property, the fresh herbs growing in the garden along the walkway, the wide wrap-around porch just made for enjoying a cup of tea or cucumber-citrus water.

Our Facilities
We are located in a classic Victorian-era house surrounded by a lush bamboo hedge in Old Pasadena, just west of Fair Oaks Blvd between California and Del Mar. We have our own herb garden where we grow many of the natural ingredients used in our treatments. We also have our own parking lot as well as unrestricted street parking.
As a Certified Green facility, we do not offer hydrotherapy services (shower, sauna, jacuzzi, etc); our focus is to provide you with the best massage and holistic treatments found anywhere.
Directions
From the 134 E & 210 W
Take 110 South, exit Del Mar Blvd. Turn left. Proceed to Fair Oaks Blvd, turn right. 2 blocks to Bellevue, turn right. We’re the 3rd house on the right behind the wall of bamboo :-)
From the 110 N
Follow freeway until it ends. Continue straight (you're on Arroyo Parkway) to Del Mar, turn left. Left again on Fair Oaks, then 2 blocks to Bellevue, turn right. We’re the 3rd house on the right.
From the Metro Gold Line
Exit Del Mar Station. Walk 2 blocks east to Fair Oaks Ave; turn left. 2 blocks to Bellevue, turn right. We’re the 3rd house on the right.

Reschedules/Cancellations
We request at least 24 hours notice for any rescheduling or cancellation.
Any appointments cancelled or rescheduled with less than 24 hours notice may be charged a fee of $25.00 per appointment
Missed appointments or those cancelled less than 3 hours prior to your appointment time will be charged for the full scheduled appointment.
